We start in the peaceful Radovna Valley, where the clear river has sustained local life for generations and remains the region’s main drinking water source. Learn about the valley’s past, from the burning of Radovna to Napoleon’s troops passing through.

As we ascend, the dramatic alpine scenery unfolds. Visit one of the oldest preserved homesteads, offering a glimpse into traditional mountain life. Enjoy a tasting of authentic Slovenian delicacies at a local inn, and see one of Slovenia’s oldest linden trees, our national symbol.

From Radovna, we continue to Peričnik Waterfall—one of the most iconic natural sights in Triglav National Park. We stop for lunch in Kranjska Gora and visit Lake Jasna, a scenic alpine lake embraced by mountain peaks.

Later, we head into the Valley of World Championships – Planica, where international ski jumpers gather each year. It is also home to the second-largest ski flying hill in the world, where the official world record in ski flying was set by Slovenian athlete Domen Prevc, soaring an astonishing 254.5 meters. Each year, Planica also hosts the popular Red Bull 400 race. The Nordic Center here celebrates sport year-round and offers many summer activities as well.

To wrap up the day, we visit Zelenci Nature Reserve, a small yet mesmerizing wetland known for its vibrant colors. It is also the source of the Sava River and the only glacial spring of its kind in Slovenia.
