ABOUT THE TOUR
Our adventure begins with a scenic boat ride across Lake Bohinj, a glacial jewel nestled deep within the park. As we glide over the crystal-clear waters, you’ll soak in the serenity and raw beauty of the surrounding alpine landscape.
On the far side of the lake, we take a peaceful walk through forested trails to reach the majestic Savica Waterfall, one of Slovenia’s most iconic natural wonders – and the very source of the Sava River. The sight of the waterfall cascading into a turquoise pool from high in the rocks is nothing short of magical.
Next, we rise above the valley with a cable car ride to the Vogel Ski Resort, perched high above Bohinj. From here, you’ll be rewarded with panoramic views over the entire lake, surrounding mountains, and even Mount Triglav, Slovenia’s highest peak. You’ll also have the opportunity to enjoy a short scenic hike along the ski slopes to a breathtaking viewpoint, a perfect finale to a half-day of natural wonder.
- If you’d like to spend the rest of your day at Bohinj lake, we’re happy to drop you off and pick you up any time after 19:30, for an extra fee of 40 €.
- Lunch is not included and there is no scheduled lunch break during the tour. However, we’re happy to drop you off at a prefered restaurant after the experience.
- In the event of poor weather conditions, the agency reserves the right to reschedule or cancel the tour with a full refund or alternative date offered.
- The Vintgar Gorge experience is joining a small group tour that runs daily at 16:00. Private tour is available upon request.
Time:
- The tour starts at 8:00, lasts up to 6 hours, and ends approximately around 14:00.
Pickup:
- Hotel pickups in Bled and its surroundings are included in the price
- Pickup in Ljubljana is available upon request for an additional fee of 50 €
- The price includes hotel pickup and return transfer at the end of the tour
- We remain flexible and can arrange pickup or drop-off at a different location
Booking policy:
- Half-day tours should be booked at least 24 hours in advance
- Full-day tours should be booked at least 3 days in advance
- Your booking is confirmed once the deposit payment has been received. A confirmation email will be sent to you shortly after the payment is completed
- Prior to the tour, your local guide will get in touch with you to confirm the pickup time and discuss any special requests or preferences you may have
- In the case of a customized itinerary (e.g. If certain sights are skipped), the corresponding entrance fees will be added or deducted from the total tour price
- Bookings for private groups up to 8 people are available upon request

The itinerary can be adjusted either according to your preferences or based on your local guide’s recommendations.
- Make sure to wear comfy shoes - sneakers or other comfortable footwear are required, as the tour involves walking on the forest trails.
- If there’s a chance of rain, please bring a raincoat or an umbrella
